KUALA LUMPUR: Telekom Malaysia is offering its streamyx GradPack package, which targets college and university students, until Dec 31.

Subscribers will enjoy broadband service at a lower rate, as well as receive some free goodies, according to the telecommunications giant.

GradPack offers two Internet service packages � 384Kbps (kilobits per second) for RM50 a month or 1Mbps (megabit per second) for RM100 monthly.

The students who subscribe will get a free modem, and a streamyx Zone ID which grants them wireless access at more than 1,300 hotspots nationwide.

TM is also waiving its RM75 activation and RM88 installation fees for GradPack users.

Also, subscribers of the 1Mbps package will get access to music portal Hypptunes, video service HyppTV and the Rose Online Evolution massively multiplayer online role-playing game for three months.

In addition to that, they will get a TM�Manchester United special-edition T-shirt for free.

Students who want to subscribe to GradPack must present their student ID at any TMpoint, TMpoint Authorised Dealership (TAD) outlet, or TM authorised reseller nationwide.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Expand it and navigate to SYSTEM. Then navigate to CurrentControlSet. In it expand NetBT. Navigate to Parameters. Now in the right panel locate TransportBindName. Just double click it and delete the default value which currently is Devices.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE --> System --> CurrentControlSet --> NetBT --> Parameters --> TransportBindName

Now navigate again to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. In it locate Softwares. Now go to Microsoft and expand it. Locate Ole in it. Now in the right panel just locate the value EnableDCOM. The default value in would be Y. Double click it and make the default value N. Now just close Registry Editor and restart the machine. Connect to Internet and voila the net now no longer gets disconnected.

You could also have changed the values of NetBIOS but generally changing the values of these two parameters would eliminate the problem for all. You would not be required to change those values.

How to Paint an Xbox 360 Case

I need to mention that removing the case as you will be doing in the next few steps will void your warranty so be warned. Now that we're through with that let's get to what you'll need for the guide.

Materials You Need

Paint (auto paint is best)
Primer
Painters Tape
Clear Acrylic
Sand Paper (grains from 200-1500)
Small Phillips Screwdriver
T10 Torx Screwdriver

Step 1: Disassemble The Case

The first thing you'll have to do is to take apart your console's case. Make sure all the wires are disconnected and remove your hard drive. Remove the faceplate by pulling on the top and bottom near the edge of the console until it pops off and then do the same for the other side. Now take off the top and bottom mesh panel - use a small pointy object to press in the tabs to release the catches. Next you'll have to insert a knife into the tabs in the back of the case and press down until you hear it pop. Be careful not to break the tabs by prying too hard. When you get all the tabs you should be able to pop the top off now.

Step 2: Sanding

When sanding your Xbox 360 case you want to start off with a 200 grit sand paper until you get the majority of the paint off. Switch to a 400 or 600 grit sand paper now and work it down until it's nice and even. There should be no more imperfections on the case. Now that you're done sanding you have to wash off all the pieces with just water.

Step 3: Priming and Painting

First start off with one coat of primer and let it sit an hour. When it's dry use some 1500+ grit sand paper and do some lite wet sanding. Let it dry once more and repeat those steps again. When it gets thoroughly dry, put on the first coat of paint. Follow the wet sanding method two more times. You should have three coats of paint.

After a day of drying, you can apply the clear acrylic. Repeat the above steps with three coats but don't sand on the last coat. Take this step very seriously and take your time or you will have to repeat the whole process!

Give your case a few days to dry and you should have your brand new stylish Xbox 360 console ready to show the world.

Finally, I would sit in the plazas and listen to loud bellowings come out of restaurants, "I ordered a taco!" or "You call this a taco?" or "Don't you have Taco Bell here?" It always was loud protestations about tacos.

I would make many minor observations too. Mostly these were carefully scribbled notes of how American Tourists would pitch public fits over where or what to eat, where to go next, or wailings to the point of almost swooning when they exited their hotels to discover that they could not find anyone who spoke English. Sometimes I could hear them ask one another, "Is everyone here really Mexican?"

These folks would do one of two things but never both. They would either run back to their hotels and in under three minutes come back out with packed bags to head to the airport for Puerto Vallarta, or they would join the shrieking harpies' battle cry (see above).

Well, I am happy as a peach that what I have to report for Guanajuato, Mexico's 2008 Tourist Season is none of the above.

That's right! Though it appears there were more tourists than ever, even of the American Gringo Breed, that showed up in town this year, we saw none of the behavior that spurred the naming of American Gringos as The Ugly American! Isn't that swell?

This year, the difference seems overwhelmingly to be that they ampang malaysia English-Speaking Mexicans to take them by the hand all over the city. The bohemian, laid back feel of Essaouira with its crumbling ramparts, thriving art community and windswept beach combines perfectly with the madness and sensory overload of Marrakech where after a day spent bartering and dodging donkeys and scooters in the souq you can always escape to the peace and solitude of one of the many beautiful riads dotted throughout the medina.

I am a huge Resident Evil fan. I remember paying extra, just to get the streamyx free laptop Resident Evil installment on my original PlayStation a week before anyone else. Some of the best I've seen on the 360 in fact. That said, I was a bit unsure of the game itself to begin with. I initially thought it felt a bit sluggish and the chunky characters took up too much room on the screen. I also thought turning to aim was a bit slow and hence frustrating. So although initially graphically I was pleased, in terms of gameplay I was a little bit dissatisfied.

However, having persevered into the first hour or two, my opinion completely changed. I became used to the controls and menu system again and also became familiar with the new interaction system with your partner. This game can be played completely in co-op mode; a nice touch that means you can enjoy this great game with a good friend (or indeed a complete stranger if you like).

On the topic of your partner, Sheva, she can sometimes be an annoyance as she will pick things up before you get to them, use up your first aid supplies, get in your way and block your vision on occasion. With that said, she will save your bacon on more than one occasion so you do tend to forgive her. It makes for an interesting and colourful relationship, as one minute you'll be cursing her and the next minute giving her praise.

You can choose for your partner to be more attack or defence minded, by selecting attack or cover respectively. I opted for her to be more defensive, so that I could do most of the shooting and she would heal me if I needed it. This worked well for me, but you could play the game differently if you preferred. To do this you would simply make Sheva attack and let her do the dirty work for you. There are times when you are over-run with enemies however, when you will need to team up and then you'll be thankful that your partner is there to take Streamyx Combo her share of the bad guys.

Changing the topic back to graphics, I'd liked to emphasise that they really are superb, and at times quite sublime. The lighting effects at different times of day are very realistic and one of my favourite and atmospheric moments takes place in an underground tunnel where all you have to see is the limited light provided by a torch. These effects all help add to the overall atmosphere of the game.

There are a large variety of enemies, some harder than others and in typical Resident Evil fashion there are certain enemies that can take you out with one attempt. You will find there is a larger Boss type enemy at the end of the levels as well to give you a slightly harder challenge. You tend to have to work out these enemy's particular weaknesses, for example, you may have to target a specific part of their body or work out how you can use your environment to get the better of these larger foes. Nothing too unfamiliar or perplexing, but a decent challenge and an aesthetic treat awaits you when you reach these end of level bosses.

The game overall is a fluid experience with a good combination of normal gameplay and occasions when you will be prompted to press certain buttons to avoid bluehyppo in one form or another. These button prompts can happen at any time, so it does keep you on your toes.

The controls are great, and although I did find it a little sluggish and restrictive at first once I figured out the buttons to reload, control Sheva, change weapon and turn around quickly, I was laughing. You can set a weapon or item to each point on the d-pad, so that you simply press up, down, left or right to equip it instantly. Something I found very handy during gameplay.

You will be rewarded for your actions throughout the game, and the 360 achievements awarded to you are fair and satisfying. You can expect to get a decent gamer score if you simply complete the game once, streamyx call those keen on getting all 1000 points will have to work that little bit harder and complete the game on multiple occasions to tick off every achievement on the list.

The game's longevity is decent for a modern day game but don't get me wrong, this is no Fallout 3. To simply get through the story will not take you too long, perhaps 15 to 20 hours or so. There are 6 chapters each with 3 stages. However, there is lots of replay value in this game, as you'll find you can't do everything you want to do in simply one play through. Also, the coop mode over XBox Live opens up another dimension of the game and will add a few extra hours of game time to this game.

I purposely have not given any of the story away as I think that would just ruin the game for some people, I prefer just to know what is good and bad about a game, and an overall opinion before I decide to buy it. Another way to try out the game is to try the demo on XBox Live, however be warned that I personally did not really enjoy the demo level but I did end up loving the game.

This for me is a no brainer. Resident Evil 5 is a cracker and therefore a must have! I'd consider it one of the best games available at the moment and probably, one of the best on the 360 to date. I give it 9/10.

Dampsey Hill: this used to be where the former British army barracks were, but it has now been turned into a trendy area with upmarket restaurants and specialty shops.
Holland village: a fun and casual place to meet up for drinks, coffee or visit one of the many restaurants.
Raffles Hotel long bar: traditionally THE place to go for a Singapore sling.
Hawker centers: if you want to eat the Singaporean way try one of the many hawker center where you can eat very cheaply.

Enjoy beautiful nature walks

Few cities are as green and luscious as Singapore. There are many places to go for a stroll and discover new trees and plants. Here are some of my favourites:

Singapore botanical gardens: beautiful big park with wonderful gardens
Bukit Timah nature reserve: for those that want to be in the jungle and have a more challenging walk
McRitchie nature reserve: lots of lovely and peaceful walks here.From here you can also do theTree Top Walkwhich gives you a different perspective on the Singapore's trees.
The Singapore zoo is a beautiful nature walk all by itself. The zoo grounds are wonderfully lush and of course it's fun to encounter some amazing animals along the way.

Jacob Ballas children's garden in the botanical gardens: a lovely free playground for the kids with water, cubby houses, slides etc (and shade for the parents to sit and chat). The botanical gardens also have a lot of ducks and fish that children love to feed.
East Coast Park: this is a park next to the sea, although you should not expect to do a lot of swimming here. People come here for walking, rollerblading, cycling but there are also lots of activities like a fair, watersports, sailing, taiqi, fishing etc.

Singapore is famous for its shopping which is the people's favorite pass time. There are so many malls here that I don't think I will ever be able to visit them all. Check these ones out:

General shopping: The most famous shopping street in Singapore is Orchard Road. Ngee Ann City is the home of Takashimaya, a big Japanese superstore. You will find many of the major brands here, and also the great book store Kinokuniya.You can walk from Ngee Ann City to Wisma Atria where there is a great variety of shops. Paragon is opposite Ngee Ann city and has a good variety of shops also. Another favorite is Singapore's newest mall Vivo City which is close to Sentosa.
Sports: for sport shoes and lots of other sports articles go to Queensway shopping centre. But my personal favorite, as many of my local sport friends will know, is theThe Velocity Sports Mall at Novena square for some great deals on Adidas clothes.
Computers and electronics: Lots of variety of electronics and computers at Sim Lim Square. Another good one (less messy) is Funan DigitaLife mall. A good place for bargaining for electronics on Orchard Road is Lucky Plaza.
Singaporean: for Chinese products head to the Yue Hwa store. Arab street is good for baskets, textiles, mats and dry goods. In the Tekka Centre you can buy gold, (Muslim) food and clothes.
Children: The Forum shopping mall tends to be focused on children but it is very expensive.

One of the great things of living in Singapore is that it is so close to a lot of other interesting places and you can take advantage of that as a visitor too. Malaysia, Indonesia (Bali), Thailand and other interesting countries are only a few hours away. So if you would like to visit Singapore but still would like some relaxing days on a nice beach then you can combine it with a tropical beach in one of those countries. The closest to Singapore is Bintan Island which is a small Island in Indonesia. It's very easy to get there from Singapore with a 40 min trip by ferry.

Right click on your [START] button and select "explore". Click on [Tools] at the top, then "Folder Options...". This will bring you to a windows with customizable folder options.
